The Mario II project operated in 15 countries with 19 partners from 2012 to 2014. It aimed to protect migrant children and young people moving through Europe by enhancing the capacities of child protection authorities in European Countries, and by undertaking advocacy at European level.

Developoed a framework and practical 65-page guide to evaluate the effectiveness of OSCE capacity building and awareness raising activities in the areas of small arms and light weapons (SALW) and stockpiles of conventional ammunition (SCA).
These programmes covered, respectively, Roma community – local authority mediation; and Roma community participation in local decision-making processes. The evaluation covered Bulgaria, FYROM, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine. The programmes emphasised gender and active and meaningful participation of women in decision-making processes.
Undertook quality assurance for this project, which evaluated the maturity level of Results Based Management (RBM) in the Council of Europe and identified strengths and areas where the organisation’s RBM system might be improved. It looks at the current RBM system and how it is used in standard setting, monitoring and cooperation throughout the organisation.
