2010 – 2011
The sector comprised 56 projects and funds in 10 countries with grant allocations amounting to approximately €45.7 million. The programme aimed to reduce social and economic inequalities in the EEA, with a focus on specific vulnerable regions and vulnerable groups. The programme was also intended to enhance cooperation between communities on either side of the EU’s eastern external border. Supported projects included cross-border eco-tourism, water management, culture, SME development, innovation, and strategic planning.
